We carry out custom carpentry work and manufacture selected custom products in our workshop in Vaskipelto, Helsinki. Each project is carefully planned and professionally executed based on the space, use, and overall requirements.

We want to work in close collaboration with our customers. We listen, ask questions, and offer advice to ensure that the end result is clear, functional, and well-founded. We break ideas down into parts and shape them into solutions that serve the space and stand the test of time.

We are motivated by the idea of furniture that is not a temporary choice. Our goal is to create objects that form a lasting relationship – furniture that fits naturally into the space and remains meaningful for decades.

Ilme began operating five years ago. We have completed a wide range of custom projects of various sizes, and interior design is now a natural part of what we do. Interior design thinking guides both our design and carpentry work.
